Hiring the Field of Dreams

The Field of Dreams is an artistically converted granite barn full of individuality in an informal style with wooden floors and features from architectural reclamation such as stained glass and Georgian pine. It is ideal for relaxed holidays with children and dogs, where you don't have to worry to much about the sand, or for cosy intimate retreat workshops or family get-togethers.

The Field of Dreams accommodates 16 or more persons. The heart of the house is a large kitchen/dining room, with a hand-built oak kitchen and a wood burning stove. A large and airy sun lounge/conservatory with gallery and veranda overlooks the garden and stream. Arched windows and doors lead to the courtyard, a sheltered sun trap ideal for dining al fresco.

The master bedroom is the former hayloft, with stained glass window, oak floor and extra sleeping gallery (double plus single). There are five other double bedrooms, in two of which there is an additional single bed, a sleeping gallery with two single beds, a bathroom with toilet and three shower rooms with toilet.

The studio, the converted stable, can be used as further sleeping accommodation, a playroom/partyroom or as a meeting or seminar room. The house has gas central heating, a jacuzzi, dishwasher, washing machine and drier, colour television/video/DVD player and a stereo.

The garden is large and secluded for sunbathing. games or barbecues, with a wellspring, pond and stream. Additional accommodation if required is available in a static caravan in the grounds. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
